Ride the McKinley Explorer domed railway offering superb 360 degree views to Talkeetna and then to Denali.
We will stay at Holland America’s beautiful Denali Area Resort, the McKinley Chalet.
Get an up-close view of the mountain and the best wildlife viewing as we travel deep into Denali National Park. It is rare not to see some combination of Alaska’s Big Five: grizzly bears, caribou, moose, Dall sheep and wolves, along with other animals on this expertly guided six- to eight-hour tour.
The afternoon is at leisure to explore the resort or take one of the amazing excursions offered by Holland America.
Your resort offers many options for once-in-a-lifetime adventures around Denali National Park. Some of these exciting excursions include river rafting, flightseeing and a visit to the home of an Iditarod Champion with an introduction to their beautiful dogs.
Try your hand at Gold Panning at the historic Gold Dredge 8. The tour begins beside the Trans-Alaska pipeline where you will learn about Alaska’s “black gold,” then board a replica of the Tanana Valley open air Railroad to the dredge for a memorable experience.

Today, we’ll board our 1 hour flight to the historic town of Dawson City in the Yukon.
This afternoon board the Klondike Spirit Paddle-Wheeler for a nostalgic cruise on the Yukon River. Learn about the history of Dawson City and relax watching the beautiful landscape along the river.

Today, we’ll travel to Fraser and board the White Pass Yukon Rail Express to Skagway. This classic narrow-gauge railway will traverse rugged mountain passes and cascading waterfalls for amazing scenic views.
