Today, we’ll have an orientation tour of the city. See the Mint Tower, the floating flower market and the Royal Palace in Dams Square.
Then it’s off to Keukenhof Gardens to view this amazing spectacle. After plenty of time to meander through the fields of flowers, we’ll return to Amsterdam.

Experience the excitement at the very epicenter of the international flower trade! Each day, over 19 million flowers are sold at ‘Bloemenveiling Aalsmeer’, the world’s largest flower auction. Witness all the action from a specially-designed viewing gallery as traders bid against the clock for a mind-blowing assortment of blooms.
Later, we’ll visit a typical Dutch windmill and the picturesque village of Volendam, renowned for its wooden houses, traditional fishing boats and old harbor.
Enjoy a free evening to discover many great bistros and unique shops. (B)
This morning, depart Amsterdam and stop in Ghent Belgium, the City of Flowers. Meet your Local Expert for a walking exploration of this city before continuing on to Paris.
After arriving in Paris, the rest of the evening is at leisure to explore on your own. (B)
Hotel Le Meridien Etoile – 3 nights
Taking in two of Europe’s most celebrated gardens; we have a full day to explore Versailles and Giverny. France’s royal history is revealed at King Louis XIV’s majestic palace of Versailles which, along with its magnificent garden, became the quintessential model for palaces in Europe. Visiting the luxurious Grand Apartments, the chandelier-lit Hall of Mirrors and the Chapel of Versailles, you get a glimpse into the lives of 17th century French nobility.
Then we head to Giverny to view the gardens that inspired many of Impressionist Claude Monet’s most famous masterpieces, seeing the Japanese Bridge which crosses the illustrious water-lily pond – as painted in Monet’s magnum opus ‘Nympheas’.

Your evening in Paris is on your own to explore this famous city. (B)
Take a day trip from Paris to visit two of the most famous Châteaux of the Loire Valley: beautiful Chenonceau Castle, and, perhaps most magnificent of them all, the Château de Chambord. You’ll witness the glamor and grandeur of French royalty and aristocracy, and gain insights into “castle life” in these Renaissance riverside castles.
In the evening, embrace the charms of the City of Light as you enjoy a festive Celebration Dinner with wine at a local restaurant. After dinner, a sightseeing drive takes you around the imposing facades of the Louvre and Garnier’s Opera House. See the obelisk in the Place de la Concorde, the Notre Dame, and drive along the Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe. (B, D)
After breakfast, your amazing tour comes to an end with a transfer to the Paris Charles De Gaulle airport. (B)
