DAILY ITINERARY:
On arrival at Zurich Airport, you will be met by your Travel Director and transferred to your hotel in beautiful lakeside Lucerne.
Later this evening, join your traveling companions for a Welcome Dinner with the opportunity to mingle and get to know each other over a pleasant evening of dinner and wine at local restaurant.
Astoria Hotel Lucerne or similar – 1 night
After breakfast, we’ll journey to Vaduz, the capital of the Principality of Liechtenstein. Known for being one of Europe’s smallest countries, Liechtenstein is dotted with medieval castles, traditional villages and dramatic mountains.
Then we’ll take the scenic train journey via Chur to the stylish resort of St.Moritz, set against the beautiful backdrop of Lake St.Moritz. Admire the inspiring
natural setting and enjoy St. Moritz at your leisure. Tonight, dinner is included a local restaurant.
Crystal Hotel St. Moritz or similar – 2 nights
After breakfast, there will be a thrilling train journey across the spectacular Bernina Pass, one of Switzerland’s iconic rail routes. Our panoramic journey takes us to a local hostelry where you can indulge in a typical apero of tasty snacks and vintages, a truly local experience!
The rest of the day is yours to relax or perhaps explore the elegant boutiques.
After breakfast, embrace the glamor and romance of a by-gone era. Watch the epic alpine landscapes drift past as you chug along one of the world’s most unforgettable rail journeys from the comfort of the Glacier Express. Cross hundreds of bridges and the Oberalp Pass at 2,033 meters above sea level. Enjoy an included lunch on board as you journey past lakes and glaciers bound for the resort town of Zermatt, at the foothills of the imposing Matterhorn.
Alex Hotel Zermatt – 2 nights
Join your Travel Director for an orientation walk around the car-free resort of Zermatt before experiencing the Klein Matterhorn, ascending over snow-capped mountains to Europe’s highest cable car station. Enjoy a unique electric taxi service that will drive us to the foot of Zermatt’s highest and most spectacular mountain ride. You’ll enjoy stunning views as we ascend to Furi and Trockener Steg, before boarding Europe’s highest cable car to 12,400 feet and the magnificent snow-capped top of the world.
Tonight enjoy a wonderful dinner at a local restaurant.
After breakfast, we’ll take a train to Tasch to meet your awaiting coach. Our adventure will take us to Grandvaux for wine tasting before ending the day in beautiful Geneva.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore Geneva on your own.
Warwick Hotel Geneva or similar – 2 nights
This morning, our orientation will include views of the Old Town, Jet d’Eau and the Flower Clock, paying tribute to the city’s centuries-old watchmaking traditions.
Then, enjoy an unforgettable cruise on Lake Geneva and enjoy the picturesque views.
This evening, we have a Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant.
After breakfast, bid farewell to Switzerland as we transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
