Welcome to the “Mile-High City” and the Denver International Airport (*please arrive by 11:30 am). Once you arrive you will meet your Tour Director and leave at noon to head toward the Cowboy State! Our first stop will be the Southeast Wyoming Welcome Center, one of the top welcome centers in the country.

We’ll then make our way to Fort Laramie. Originally established as a private fur trading fort in 1834, Fort Laramie evolved into the largest and best-known military post on the Northern Plains before its abandonment in 1890. This “grand old post” witnessed the entire sweeping saga of America’s western expansion and Indian resistance to encroachment on their territories. After touring Fort Laramie, we’ll travel to Torrington for the night.

Enjoy a welcome dinner with the group tonight! (D)
